With a background in conveyor systems and building maintenance, Miles joined the world of solar operations and maintenance in 2020. He holds an associate degree in Industrial Technology and enjoys the hands-on challenges of the job.
At EFS Energy, Miles thrives on solving system issues and crafting creative solutions, like building the occasional fabricated mounting solution to a completely redesigned replacement inverter model. He values how his work reinforces the national power grid and helps customers stay powered.
He appreciates the dedication of his coworkers, especially given the demands of the field. When he’s not in the field, Miles is often found tinkering with his 3D printer, working on side projects, or unwinding with video games. He values his free time and makes the most of it.
His advice for newcomers: “You don’t need to be a master electrician… but you do need to know how not to get shocked… Just take the time to learn how things work, and know how to be safe in the meantime, and success will follow.”
